Over the course of EO dinner tonight the one of the concepts I introduced was the concept of eRestaurants.   The long story how this came about is this. EO Day...

Had a 7AM start and cleaned up a bunch of small things to make time for the evening available.  As it turned out the evening was spend with the EO boys talking about business, so the time wasn’t directed at any particular tasks, but nevertheless the time was well spent. I have moved on the corporate ownership and restructuring and met with Andy to look at the Chinese VAT side and look at the competitors position.  Good stuff out of the discussion although the general conclusion was that there was not much room for optimization in this area.   So, the good...

Productive Day...

The day today, and managed to get a lot of things accomplished.  My rough outline for the e-commerce presentation is done, and then send it out now to the designer polish it up for me.  Spend a good part of the day on getting all those details, and now the basic focus has to be on just the visual aspect of the presentation. My Book Library now online...

As I am working on my Ecommerce Presentation, I had wanted to do a visual reference guide for those attending the presentation – a reference table of sorts to allow people to learn more about any particular subject if they so desire.  This started a mini-project of moving my library into the online space and getting it organized.    I had Alex and her friend Caroline (9 year old) help me on the weekend to get all the ISBN numbers into a database.   We went high tech and used the iPhone RedLaser App (http://redlaser.com) to scan the books...

Early stages of IPO planning...

Had a very nice day today – Alex was over today until 6PM – and her friend Caroline came over.   The girls played well together and then they proceeded to gang up on me in a game of Pictureurka.   I lost. Cool Day...

Whew!  After a crazy week I finally managed to get on top of things.   Up at 5:45AM today, the day opened with a email conversation from one of my competitors in the pearl space about possible synergies between us.    Interesting stuff and huge amount of possibilities.   Will be pursuing further and may look at making in person trip to meet with Jeremy.     I have a mind map of some ideas in my private section which I will post under separate heading.
