Expanded Meaning:   We are hiring tons and tons of people now to help with Christmas season.   I see people coming in that didn’t have a chance to get education, learning and expand in life.   We pay them well for the given market , but it just makes you realize how fortunate some of us are, and how some just didn’t have a chance.

A further elaboration on this thought, is that those people live a century behind the fortunate ones.  Where as we drive cars, have pluming, and warmth during winter from gas – a whole number of people live in a a time where the toiler is a hole in the ground, heating is by coal, and warmth means a warm blanket.

What you you do, is use the recording ability of evernote to record a voice note.   First, it gets stored in evernote which is great, but then, AUTOMATCIALLY, a few minutes later Dial2do, will convert your voice note and update your evernote with transcribed version of your note.

Sweet?   Oh yeah.

I user Evernote to keep track of research, info I find on the web for easy access.    I have setup a number of categories and file my research and information as it comes by.

The nice feature is that if you would like to share a certain notebook, say “Marketing Tools” with your crew, it’s a simple thing to enable sharing what you find with others.    Here is the link:http://evernote.com/

The iphone app and ipad app syncs all my information everywhere I go, and by adding a bookmarklet to my ipad and iphone, if I’m reading on ipad or iphone and want to save the information – it’s a simple click

But the next post is the killer that made me want to write this one.

The problem is that I just can’t do that, since my staff reads this blog – and can in, in fairness, protect someone privacy by discussing issues that made my decisions based on a specific person.  The answer is NO.

So, I know many of you have asked that I keep this blog, open and password free, however, by doing that, I limit myself in how much I can share and the internal decisions I make and how I come at them.

So, the blog part of this blog will soon be going private.   Some parts of the blog I will be able to still keep open – but the ‘good stuff’  – and by that I mean my daemons I fight, the issues that keep me awake till 4AM – those things will not be public.

There will be a simple signup sheet – I will accept my close friends, family, business friends to the ‘private’ posts.  

So, many of you that in the past convinced me to keep this open – thank you for the encouragement.  If you are continuing to read my blog, you can still continue, but just sign up for an account and get approved. 

That is where you will see the content that I just cannot share with all.

A fundamental basis of that I work on is that I give people my trust and in exchange I expect the same.   When you have no trust – you cannot achieve very much.  Trust enables you to get through good times and bad times.  It gives a sense of safety, since whatever a person says or does can be counted upon. Having said this I have bend the truth at times to spare peoples feelings.

For example, when firing someone, I would not say “Your screwed up – for this and this reason”, instead I would coat it in softer words such as “We are changing direction, etc.”   So, you could arque that my hands are not clean in this way.     I have been strongly considering changing my approach with this, and telling people exactly how it is without any softners.
