Lion away from the will – west vs east

Jun 20, 2011 | Insights | 0 comments

When a lion is away from a hill, the monkey thinks it’s king.
Chinese proverb

When a lion is a away from the hill, the monkey doesn’t come to the hill
Paul Lepa

Interesting application between west and east cultures. In the west, the monkey typically want to be the king.
In the east, the monkey gets lost and doesn’t want to participate.

Hence, management styles have to differ significantly between the cultures
