I spent a good part of the day working the financials. First, working hands on financial transactions – and then secondly looking at the long term issues –cash flow, etc. It has been close to a month that I have been doing this ‘hands on’ and I’m getting a very good feeling for what is needed. I’m not there 100% yet, but I’m getting more and more certain as to what kind of person I need to hire, what kind of consultant I need and what kind of data I need. From the point of view of the ‘delayed’ inventory management system project, I will apply that lesson here and find a dedicated person to handle the finances.
