Didn’t get an awful lot done today.  Alex was sick, so I picked her up and took her home.   While she was at home, caught up on operational emails, few small projects.   In the evening, I did the the test ‘strengthfinder.com” which I”m planning to give out to the team as part of their self development.

My results are here.  Nothing new there for me – so wouldn’t say this was a brilliant test BUT I think for some of my team leads this will be a new insight.    Fought a small battle with cash flow – a wire that didn’t go in the right direction messed up the plan – but nothing that cannot be fixed – just a bit more work!

Tomorrow, day off with interior decorator, to  get my place decorated.  I guess I realized that I may as well outsource something I don’t like (decorating) and get what I like (nice looking place).  So, this guy has prepared for me the things for the house, and I just now go to look, view and approve.   I’m guessing he saved me 80+ hours of work that I don’t enjoy, saved me money and will make the place look nicer!   Gotta love outsourcing.    Plus, I will have the results in a week, instead of 4.  And I will be able to release my brain power away from ‘decorating’ to more valuable tasks.
